Marielle Costanza
Most recently, Marielle was the Senior Vice President of Valens Global, a consulting firm that
specializes in global security issues and threats posed by extremist organizations. At Valens,
Marielle was responsible for managing day-to-day operations, developing projects and services,
and building strategic partnerships. Before Valens, she was the head of development at several
national 501(c)(3) organizations including Young Invincibles and the American-Arab Anti-
Discrimination Committee, raising millions of dollars through campaigns, sponsorships, and
grants from prominent funders and foundations.
Additionally, Marielle was a researcher at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy,
Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, and Harvard University, focusing on counter-
terrorism, radicalization, sectarianism, political instability and democracy in the Middle East.
Marielle worked as a consultant for V1 Analytical Solutions, providing in-depth analysis for
country-specific economic and political threats.
She holds a master’s degree in Middle Eastern Studies from Harvard University, where her thesis
on sectarian communities was recognized with distinction. She also graduated magna cum laude
from the University of Utah with degrees in History, International Studies, Middle Eastern
Studies and a minor in Arabic.
